Frequently asked questions

How do matches work?

Tap two numbers that are identical (like 4 and 4) or that add up to 10 (like 3 and 7). They must be next to each other horizontally, vertically, diagonally, or across the end of one row and the start of the next — empty cells in between don't block the match. You can also keep tapping connected numbers to build a chain: the moment the sum hits exactly 10, every tile in the chain clears at once.

I'm out of moves. Is the game over?

Usually not! Use Add Numbers to append a copy of the remaining numbers to the board, opening up fresh combinations. A run only ends when the board is full and no rescue remains.

Does Sumistry need an internet connection?

No — everything, including the Daily Puzzle, works fully offline.

Is my progress backed up?

Your current game, best scores, and daily streak are stored on your device. Deleting the app deletes them too.

I bought you a coffee. What do I get?

Nothing. That was the deal, and we said so on the way in. Tips unlock no features, no easter eggs, and no ad removal — there were never any ads. Sumistry is free, complete, and identical for everyone. What you get is our genuine, disproportionate gratitude.

Can I get a refund for a tip?

Yes, through the store you paid — Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google Play from your order history. We never handle the payment, so we can't refund it ourselves. Email us anyway if something looks wrong.
