Privacy Policy

Sumistry is built to be private by design. The short version: we do not collect, store, or share any personal data. Period.

What the app stores

Your game progress, best scores, daily streak, settings (such as sound and haptic preferences), and the number of tips you have left are stored only on your device. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Tips

Settings includes an optional Buy me a coffee tip jar. Tips are voluntary, they unlock nothing, and the game is identical whether you tip or not.

If you do tip, the payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see or receive your name, email, or payment details. The stores show us anonymous sales totals, and they process the transaction under Apple's and Google's own privacy policies. The only thing the app itself records is a count of coffees bought, kept on your device.

What we don't do

• No accounts or sign-ins
• No analytics or tracking
• No advertising or ad identifiers
• No analytics, advertising, or attribution SDKs
• No access to contacts, location, camera, or files

One piece of third-party code does ship with the app: the store billing library needed for the tip jar. On Android that is Google Play Billing, which brings Google's own components with it and is why the Android listing shows a network permission the game never uses itself. It is Google's code, running under Google's privacy policy. We chose it because Apple and Google both require their own billing for tips — we cannot offer the tip jar any other way.

Network access

Sumistry works fully offline and does not transmit gameplay data. Standard platform services (such as operating-system crash reporting you may have enabled in your device settings) are governed by Apple's or Google's own privacy policies, not ours. The tip jar is the one screen that talks to the outside world, and only to your app store, and only while you have it open.

Children

Because no data is collected from anyone, no data is collected from children.

Changes to this policy

If a future update ever changes what the app stores or transmits, this policy and the store listings will be updated before that version ships.
